Development is under way
The software development is progressing well. Currently, I'm focusing on the
core features and the user interface. I've chosen the TALL stack (Tailwind
CSS, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire) and MySQL for the database.
Why this tech stack? I'm already proficient in PHP and MySQL, and I
wanted to explore Laravel with Livewire. It's an excellent way to build
interactive web applications without writing a single line of JavaScript.
I usually dedicate a few hours after work to this project. Despite the
limited time, I'm seeing significant progress. As I become more familiar
with Laravel, the development speed should increase. The most challenging
part for me, as somewhat of a perfectionist, is to settle for "good enough"
at the moment. The current focus should be to launch the web app and gather
feedback, then iterate based on the feedback received.
