Quick answers
Let's talk about the software
The most common questions about pkrclub, answered.
When will pkrclub be released?
pkrclub is in active development, with the tournament clock, seating and event engine already working. Early access opens to waitlist members first — join the list and you'll get an invite before the public launch.
What happens when I join the waitlist?
Nothing but a single email when early access opens. No spam, and you can unsubscribe any time.
How much will pkrclub cost?
Pricing isn't finalised yet, but the plan is simple, club-friendly pricing — and waitlist members will get early-adopter terms when early access opens.
Do I have to sit at a computer to run the tournament?
No. The director runs the clock, eliminations, rebuys, late reg and seating from a phone or tablet at the table, and the big screen updates live. It's role-based too: at larger clubs with their own dealers, each can run their own table from their own phone while the director keeps the overall view.
Can players and other tables see the clock?
Yes — the clock is built for the venue's big screen, and players and staff can follow the level, blinds, their seat and the prize pool on their own phones, so the table that can't see the screen still knows where things stand.
Does it handle rebuys, re-entries and add-ons?
Yes — set the rules (caps, cutoff by level, add-on at the break) and pkrclub tracks them and updates the prize pool and payouts automatically.
Can I import results from The Tournament Director?
Yes. You'll be able to import results from The Tournament Director, and pkrclub also includes its own built-in tournament clock and engine.
I'm moving off an old or abandoned desktop tool — what about my data?
You can import results from The Tournament Director, and everything runs in the browser with an auditable event history, so nothing's locked to one ageing desktop app.
Is there support for rankings and leagues?
Absolutely. Build season standings with predefined formulas or your own scoring — standings stay up to date automatically, so the days of calculating rankings in a spreadsheet are over.
Can players from different clubs be ranked against each other?
Yes — that's the whole point of the Poker Passport. A player's ELO rating is calculated across every pkrclub event they take part in, so you can see how players compare beyond a single club's leaderboard.
Can I handle club accounting?
Yes. Tournament rake, membership fees and similar revenue are booked automatically, and you can record revenues and expenses manually too.
What is the Poker Passport?
A single player profile that travels across every club on pkrclub — carrying your results, ELO rating, achievements and statistics, so a result in one room counts everywhere.
Is my club's data secure?
Each club's data is isolated and only visible to that club's members and staff. And because every action is recorded as an event, nothing is silently changed — the full tournament history is always there and auditable.
What devices does it run on?
pkrclub runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install. The tournament clock is built for the big screen at the venue, while staff and players can follow along on phones and tablets.
What else is included?
Member management, live tournament clock, seating and table balancing, payout and blind structures, statistics, automated email notifications, and more.
